One individual misplaced his life in an accident that occurred on the Geçitkale-Tatlısu freeway within the night. In keeping with the data given by the police, the accident occurred at round 17:45, close to Davlos Market in Tatlısu, when the car with the license plate FC 228, pushed by Hüseyin PALU (E-41), a resident of Geçitkale, was travelling from the route of Tatlısu in the direction of Geçitkale, and attributable to his carelessness on a curve, he misplaced management of the steering wheel and crossed over to the suitable lane, colliding head to head with the car with the license plate MEH 831, pushed by Christoforou CHRISTOFOROS (E-49), a resident of the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus, who was coming from the other way.
