The US will deploy the superior anti-missile protection system (THAAD) to Israel, which can be operated by American troopers on Israeli soil, Israel's Channel 12 tv community and Israel's army radio station reported.
The transfer comes amid preparations for an anticipated Israeli army motion towards Iran – in response to the latest Iranian missile assault on Israel.
The THAAD system, able to intercepting ballistic missiles, will work in coordination with Israel's Arrow protection system.
