An 84-year-old girl from Nicosia died of heatstroke on Saturday afternoon, the well being ministry mentioned on Sunday.
The girl had been admitted to the Nicosia basic hospital on Friday and is the second individual to die of heatstroke amid the most recent heatwave on the island.
At current, three folks, two males and one girl, are being handled on the Nicosia basic hospital for signs of heatstroke. All three are mentioned to be in a severe situation.
